LEST 2016 Wrap-Up!

LEST 2016 is in the books.  We had a great weekend that included many accolades for our school and our students.  Our Dance Team took first place for the third straight year, our choir and handbell groups both brought home blue ribbons, our drama earned an outstanding performance, our math team took 2nd place, and the boys basketball team won consolation.  We also earned 5 blue ribbon music performances (1 for piano, 3 for solos, and one ensemble).  Individually, we brought home first places in math (5th grade), chess (5th grade), art (7th grade), technology (5th grade), and writing (7th grade).  In addition to those, we had three 2nd places (6th math, 6th chess, 7th chess), a third place (7th math), and a 6th grader recognized for high points in the swim meet.  We had a huge turnout from our school that supported all our competitors and represented our school well.  Thank you so much for all the hard work that led to such a great weekend for everyone.  Our team trophies are on display now in the office, and the LEST artwork submitted from our school is in the main hallway outside the library.
